A Clare County woman who was killed in a rollover accident Saturday on U.S. 127 has been identified.

Taylor Mann, 24, of Lake was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer shortly after 11:30 a.m. when the SUV rolled over several times, throwing her from the vehicle, near the East Vernon Road overpass in Isabella County, Sheriff Michael Main said.

Distracted driving is a possible cause of the accident, which caused several internal injuries to Mann, the sheriff said.

There was “some indication” that Mann could have been distracted by a cell phone at the time of the accident, Main said.

The accident remains under investigation and deputies were assisted by Isabella County Central Dispatch, the Isabella Northeast Fire Department and Mobile Medical Response ambulance service.
