According to The Morning Sun, commissioners at the Mt Pleasant City Commission meeting Monday approved two new barrier free parking parking spaces in downtown Mt Pleasant. The new spaces will allow better access to stores, as barrier free parking in downtown is currently limited to lots. One location is near Broadway and University. The other barrier free spot will be near the intersection of Main and Illinois.
