Trustee Don Chiodo served on the Mt Pleasant School Board for nine years, and announced his resignation recently.  According to The Morning Sun, Chiodo stayed on through the last year to aid the passing of the huge bond project and make sure the board found a new superintendent.  With both of those tasks complete he thought this would be the right time to step aside.  Mt Pleasant residents interested should submit a letter along with qualifications to the Mt Pleasant Public Schools, however there will be an election for the position in November of 2018.  Check out the Morning Sun story here.
