For the second consecutive day, Francisco Rodriguez blew the save in the 9th. This time, it led to an 8-3 Detroit Tigers loss to the Oakland A’s. Detroit led 6-5 after eight innings, but K-Rod surrendered a three-run home run in the 9th, giving the Tigers a loss. K-Rod now has four blown saves and an 8.49 ERA on the season. Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said the team will consider a change of closer during their off-day Monday.
