Thirty One Year Old Elaine Garlitz was arraigned Wednesday afternoon on three charges after she injured her son in a car accident, failed to report it, and operated a vehicle without insurance. The crash happened in the area of Cedar and M-115 in Fremont Township. She was found at her home in Sears and officers were able to match the car with items at the scene to connect Garlitz to the crash. Her son was taken by ambulance to a hospital due to a head injury.
