An elderly man being punched in the face Thursday night at the Alma Meijer ultimately lead to a high speed chase in multiple counties. Tips of descriptions of the vehicle lead to the chase beginning on Friday afternoon on U.S. 127.  The chase ultimately ended when the driver exited the vehicle and hid in a garage.  The woman driver was arrested for fleeing and eluding and she also had outstanding warrants.  Two male passengers were also jailed, one fit the description of the man witnesses said assaulted the elderly man in the Meijer Parking lot Thursday.  Drug paraphernalia was also found at the scene.  See the Morning Sun’s full story here.
