An Alma man who already faces charges of abusing his elderly mother now faces two more charges in Gratiot County court. 53-year-old Richard Coin was arraigned Tuesday on charges of possession of a firearm, and felonious assault. Those charges carry a possible nine years in prison on top of the 15-year felony he faces for first degree vulnerable adult abuse.
