The Economic Alliance for Michigan recently awarded MidMichigan Medical Center – Gratiot with its Improvement Award. The Alma-based hospital was one of four throughout Michigan to receive the award during National Patient Safety Awareness Week, March 12-18. Hospitals that receive the award must show improvement in letter grades for the Hospital Safety Score in four consecutive grading terms.
