Two pavilions at Island Park in Mt Pleasant are getting scheduled work done earlier than expected due to warmer weather. New roofs for both pavilions were budgeted for this year at a cost of $75,000. The roof on the west shelter was last replaced in the 1980s, and the south shelter roof was last replaced in the 1990s.
