A petition supporting the development of a Gender and Sexuality Center at Central Michigan University gathered roughly 2,000 signatures. The group Central Michigan Action gathered the signatures and shared the results at an event Tuesday afternoon supporting the development of the Center. A Gender and Sexuality Center would provide a combination of women’s awareness and the LGBTQ community, while also providing programs and workshops to help survivors of sexual assault.
