Kurt Busch captured the checkered flag after a last-lap pass in Sunday’s Daytona 500. The first race of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series ended with the Monster Energy car in victory. NASCAR took plenty of criticism for a wreck-heavy race where only about 20 cars finished. Ryan Blaney, AJ Allmendinger, Aric Almirola and Paul Menard rounded out the top five.
