A traffic stop late on Monday night in Mt Pleasant landed two men and a woman in jail. The driver ran a stop sign at Crapo and Bellows just before midnight on Monday. 35-year-old passenger William Church was arrested for malicious destruction of a police vehicle and disorderly conduct after jumping out and smashing a police car. The 29-year-old driver was arrested for driving on a suspended license, and the 25-year-old passenger was arrested for drinking alcohol while on probation.
