Mt Pleasant city commissioners approved an ordinance to limit garbage pickup in some areas of the city after months of debate. Commissioners approved the ordinance on a 4-3 vote Monday evening. Garbage pickup hours are now limited to between 7:00AM to 8:00PM in and around residential zones.
