A 27-year-old Mt Pleasant man died on Saturday after overdosing on heroin. Ridge Jackson was remembered by family and friends as a loving father and talented artist. Toxicology results are pending, but police did find a small amount of heroin at the home, and a witness said he was using the drug before leaving.
