Two Mt Pleasant women were jailed in the early morning hours of New Year’s Day for arrest warrants. The women called police in separate disputes, and after police dealt with each situation, they discovered the arrest warrants. One of the women had a blood alcohol level of .26 percent, and resisted arrest, causing a public disturbance.
