The city of Alma will cover more than half the cost of a new sidewalk on Lincoln Avenue between Marshall Street and Van Buren road. The project totals more than $83,000. The city approved a $61,626 cost at the December 13th Alma City Commission meeting. Residents will cover the remaining $22,000. Engineering for the project begins next summer, with construction slated for summer of 2018.
