Residents of Alma who need non-emergency medical transportation can now receive the service through Dial-A-Ride. City manager Phil Moore said the door-to-door service is being used because of a need in the community. The city purchased vans and hired drivers from the Alma-based nonprofit organization Patient Equipment Locker. The service began on December 11th.
