The Central Michigan women’s basketball team delivered a blow to the Big Ten Monday night, defeating Illinois 82-51 at McGuirk Arena. The win was CMU’s first over a Big Ten opponent since upsetting 12th ranked Purdue in 2011. Sophomore Reyna Frost led the way for CMU with a career-high 21 rebounds. Sophomore Presley Hudson led CMU on the scoring front with 26 points. The Chippewas improve to 8-3 on the season with the win.
