The Great Lakes Loons were no match for the Lake County Captains offense, allowing 17 hits in an 8-2 loss on Wednesday at Dow Diamond. Caleb Ferguson surrendered nine of those hits for two runs in five innings pitched, while Ivan Vieitez and Brian Bass allowed four hits and three runs each in the loss. Zach McKinstry and Erick Meza had the lone runs for the Loons.
