Central Michigan quarterback Cooper Rush was named as one of 90 plays on the Maxwell Award watch list for the 2016 season. The award is given to college football’s player of the year. Rush threw for a school-record 3,848 yards and 25 touchdowns last season, earning him second team All-MAC honors.
