Mt Pleasant Superintendent Mike Pung announced his intention to retire following the 2016-17 school year at Monday’s Board of Education meeting. Pung served as district superintendent for the past five years, and spent 26 years in the district. His retirement officially goes into effect on June 30th of 2017.
