The Mt Pleasant City Commission will hold a public hearing Monday night on the proposed Brownfield Plan Amendment and Tax Increment Finance Capture Plan for the Mt Pleasant Center. The city’s Brownfield Redevelopment Authority helps provide the Mount Pleasant Economic Development Corporation with assistance on the redevelopment of the city’s environmentally contaminated or structurally obsolete properties. They approved the plan amendment on May 13th.
