DESCRIPTION:Art Reach is hosting Artists Battle 2024 from 11 am-1 pm on Sunday\, August 4\, on Broadway in downtown Mt. Pleasant. \nArtists will have two hours to complete a work of art from start to finish. The contest is open to all ages and media. Contestants will be divided into three categories: Youth (12 & under)\, Teen (13-19)\, and Adults (20+). This is a juried contest with one winner from each category. Winners will be announced at approximately 1:30 pm. \nA cash prize of $750 will be awarded to the Adult Winner. A cash prize of $500 will be awarded to the Teen Winner. A cash prize of $250 will be awarded to the Youth Winner. \nThe artist must provide all supplies. Artists are expected to bring a table/chair/tent if desired. Electricity is not readily available; arrangements should be made\, by the artist\, ahead of time if electricity is required. Registration fee is $10 for Adults and Teens and $5 for Youth.
