Willie Garson has died. The 57-year-old reportedly had cancer, but it wasn’t clear that it caused his death. His son, Nathen Garson, confirmed the news.
“I love you so much, papa,” Nathen said next to a series of photos of his late father. “I’m so glad you got to share all your adventures with me and were able to accomplish so much.”
While Willie has 170 acting credits to his name, he was best known for playing Stanford Blatch – a gay socialite who was Carrie Bradshaw’s bestie on “Sex and The City.” He appeared in 27 episodes of the show and both movies. In addition, he shot some scenes for “And Just Like That…” the “SATC” revival series for HBO Max.
