The sex trafficking trial of R Kelly continues in Brooklyn. Kelly has been charged with nine counts of racketeering and violations of the Mann Act. A law in 1910 law making it a crime to transport “any woman or girl” across state lines for any “immoral purpose.” If convicted as charged, he is looking to face 10 years to life in prison. R Kelly’s doctor testified that he had treated him for STDs starting as early as 1994.
