Westeros Has Their New King.

The prequel series to “Game of Thrones” has found its first cast member. English actor Paddy Considine has signed on to star in HBO’s “House of the Dragon” to play King Viserys Targaryen.

Here’s a clue how things may go. The character description says “A warm, kind, and decent man, Viserys only wishes to carry forward his grandfather’s legacy. But good men do not necessarily make for great kings.”

Considine’s other TV roles include “Peaky Blinders,” “Informer,” and “The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher.” “House of the Dragon” is set a few hundred years prior to the events of “Game of Thrones” and tells the story of House Targaryen.
