MY1043, along with the United Way of Gratiot and Isabella Counties and all of their amazing volunteers, I-Ride of Isabella County, Sowle Mayflower, and Rics Food Center want to THANK YOU for everything you did for our 2017 “Fill A Mayflower” – giving back to our community event, on Friday, November 17th!
For 12 cold hours, we stood at Rics Food Center, on Mission & High, and collected OVER $6,055 in cash & non-perishable food donations! I-Ride came to you and picked up your non perishable donations wherever you were AND they even did a “Food for Fare” Day, that brought in thousands of pounds of non-perishable food items. Rics even kicked in 50 Turkeys for many of those families in need this holiday season.
At 6pm, on Friday, November 17th, The United Way of Gratiot & Isabella Counties & their countless number of volunteers, distributed all the non-perishable food items & cash to (6) area local food pantries:
*POTTERS HOUSE
*COMMUNITY COMPASSION NETWORK
*SALVATION ARMY
*ROSEBUSH EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (REAP)
*SAINT VINCENT
*WEIDMAN UNITED METHODIST
Because of YOU, Isabella County, they’ll now be able to guarantee a much happier Thanksgiving to those less fortunate families in our community!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING & Christmas, from: The United Way of Gratiot & Isabella Counties, I-Ride, Rics Food Center, Sowle Mayflower, Migizi Development Company, Mt Pleasant Chamber of Commerce, Shelly Kemmerling of Coldwell Bankers, Robert F Murray CPA’s, Amy Covey of Edward Jones, Graff of Mt. Pleasant, Ace of Diamonds, Krapohl Ford & Lincoln, and countless other sponsors & volunteers who made this event possible!
MY1043 is proud to continue to serve such an awesome community!
