A community is rallying behind a Shepherd High School senior who was diagnosed with cancer.

Adriana Nelson was diagnosed with large b-cell non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in August.

Adriana has go undergone three cancer treatments.

The community is rallying behind her.

They’ve made “Team Adri” bracelets to show their support.

Mitchell’s Gourmet Market and Deli in Shepherd is collecting donations for her and her family.

So far they’ve raised more than $600.

“It’s been incredible, I can’t even tell you how many people will come up to me on the street and just ask me how I am doing. This community may be small but they have big hearts that’s for sure,” says Nelson.

Adriana has three more treatments.
