Isabella County Planning Commissioners voted unanimously to recommend that county commissioners approve revisions to the current wind energy zoning ordinance. A few changes were made, including reducing the noise maximum from 55 to 50 decibels, changing the height measurement of turbines, and the measurement of the noise from property lines. Most residents who spoke supported clean energy, but expressed concerns about the noise.
