22-year-old Mt Pleasant man Benjamin McKewen faces up to ten years in prison after a jury found him guilty of stabbing another man in the chest at a party last year. It took the jury about three hours of deliberation to find McKewen guilty of assault with intent to do great bodily harm, and assault with a dangerous weapon. Sentencing is set for June 9th at 2:00PM in Isabella County Judge Paul Chamberlain’s courtroom.
