The Detroit Tigers fell 5-2 to the Texas Rangers on Sunday night at Comerica Park. Matthew Boyd struggled, allowing four runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings. The Tigers didn’t even have a baserunner in the final two innings. Ian Kinsler provided one bright spot for the Tigers, with a leadoff home run in the first inning.
