The Detroit Tigers announced Tuesday evening that Justin Wilson would assume the closer role from the struggling Francisco Rodriguez. So far, so good. The Tigers defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-3 Tuesday night in Phoenix. Wilson pitched a scoreless ninth inning, though it was a non-save situation. Catcher James McCann hit his seventh home run of the season to help lead the Tigers to victory.
