A 29-year-old man was arrested at the Mt Pleasant Days Inn last week after making multiple calls to hurl insults at law enforcement. The Davison-area man continued to refer to himself as Rumpelstiltskin when dispatchers asked for his name. Eventually he became belligerent, and began cursing and calling police “German shepherds.” Police eventually located the man and arrested him. The police report says he was highly intoxicated.
