Union Township residents gathered on Wednesday night while the board of trustees voted on adopting a resolution to reaffirm its human rights ordinance. Ultimately, all members of the board voted for reaffirmation, a decision met with applause from the audience. Union Township was one of the first in the state to pass such an ordinance.
