Anibal Sanchez had another strong outing, and the Detroit Tigers defeated the New York Mets 5-1 Monday in spring training action at Joker Marchant Stadium. Sanchez tossed four scoreless innings, allowing just two hits, no walks and five strikeouts. James McCann and Nicholas Castellanos both homered for the Tigers in the win.
