The Sacred Heart Irish fought until the end, but ultimately top-ranked Pittsford was too much, defeating the Irish 57-39 in the state semifinal Thursday at the Breslin Center. The Irish finished their season at 25-2, and with no graduating seniors, should be heavy favorites for the Class D state title next season.
