Tim Brockman Posthumously Named Citizen of the Year

The Mt Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet on Saturday turned into a memorial for deceased Max & Emily’s owner Tim Brockman. Brockman was chosen as the Outstanding Citizen of the Year prior to his unexpected death on Wednesday, and would have received the award on Saturday. Chris “Elmo” Walton spoke and accepted the award on behalf of Brockman and his family, saying that “he lived his life by what was the right thing to do,” and that “Tim’s love of Mt Pleasant radiated in so many of his decisions.”
