Shepherd Police recently ordered new, smaller body cameras for their officers. Chief Luke Sawyer and Officer Jay Janofsky will both wear the new cameras. The money came from a grant from a risk reduction grant program. Shepherd joins the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Police and Clare Police Department as local law enforcement using the cameras.
