A Shepherd fourth grader grew a 24 pound cabbage that won her a college scholarship. Erin Long took first place in Michigan from the National Bonnie Plants Cabbage Program. Erin received a $1,000 scholarship from the program. More than 1.5 million children participated in the program this year, including over 19,000 from Michigan.
