Mt Pleasant Public Schools Awarded Grant For School Safety

Mt Pleasant Public Schools received about $80,000 in state grants to improve the safety and security of buildings. The district plans to use the funds as part of a $30 million renovation project that began in the fall of 2016. Mt Pleasant was one of over 50 schools to receive a share of the $2 million in funding.
