Judge Dismisses Target Starbucks Larceny Case

Charges were dismissed on Thursday for a Big Rapids man accused of trying to take money from the Starbucks inside the Mt Pleasant Target. Judge Eric Janes determined there was not probable cause to try 36-year-old Nathan Clark for attempted robbery of a person. He was accused of asking a barista for money in her register while buying a cup of coffee in September. The victim said she had difficulty identifying Clark as the person at the register.
