Mt Pleasant City Commissioners drafted a new trash pick-up ordinance that will be ready for public comment early next year. Residents complaining of early morning dumpster and garbage pick-up noise prompted the discussion in September. The new draft specifies that garbage removal in residential areas, or areas that abut residential areas can’t begin before 7:00AM.
