The Mt Pleasant Board of Education announced that Fancher and Vowels Elementary will use portable classrooms during the 2016-17 school year. Class sizes increased this past year, and construction in the schools forced the use of temporary classrooms. If the construction isn’t complete by summer of 2017, the schools plan to use the portable classrooms again next school year.
