State legislators approved $19.5 million for Central Michigan University to build a new Center for Integrated Health Studies. The center allows growth for CMU’s physical therapy, physician assistant, audiology and speech language pathology programs. Residents in rural and medically underserved areas will benefit from the new center as well.
