Micheal Fulmer gave up his first run since May 21st last night, ending his scoreless innings streak at 33 1/3 innings. However, that was the only run he surrendered as he battled through five innings of work on a night where he didn’t have his best stuff. The bullpen did not help his cause giving up nine earned runs in the 7th and 8th innings. The tigers got two home runs in the 9th inning to make the final score 10 to 3. The tigers are back at it against the Royals tonight at 8:15 and finish the 4 game series tomorrow with an afternoon contest at 2:15.
