The Great Lakes Loons ran into the teeth of the West Michigan Whitecaps rotation, picking up only three hits against Whitecaps ace Matt Hall in six innings en route to a 3-0 loss. Loons starter Victor Gonzales surrendered two earned runs on only four hits in six innings pitched, but his performance couldn’t match Hall’s.
