The 6th ranked Mount Pleasant Oilers baseball team saw a promising season come to an end last night, falling to 5th ranked Bay City Western 7-3 in pre-district action in Midland. Mount Pleasant loaded the bases on several occasions throughout the contest, but were unable to capitalize. The Oilers ended their season at 31-7 after losing five of their last six games.
